Test Info
First let me point out that the image above is my own car and so you can see that it is a very nice one! The car is a Renault Clio 1.5 Diesel and it comes with dual controls and air-conditioning for those hot summer days!
Now down to the positive stuff…
The driving test consists of two parts, the theory and the practical.
To pass the theory test you must get 43 out of 50 points on a multiple choice questionnaire.
For the hazard perception test you must score 44 out of 75 points. The unfortunate part is if you were to fail either part you would have to retake the exam.
All my pupils will receive help with the tests if they require it and I can point you in the direction of some really useful books and cd’s to buy, to help you study whilst at home.
In order for you to pass the practical test, you must commit 15 or less driving faults and receive no serious or dangerous faults. The national pass rate is only 43%, however I am pleased to say my own pass rate is well above this and I will do all I can to help every student achieve a pass first time round!
If you require a more in depth look into your test day, please email me and I can provide information about your possible test routes.
I want to take this opportunity to say that if you are about to take your test, good luck and thank you for driving with me.
